The first ever Acrobranch in South Africa is situated in the picturesque James and Ethel Gray Park in Melrose. Acrobranch is an exciting aerial adventure where zip lines, Tarzan swings, nets, bridges and other fun obstacles take children and adults from tree to tree. Come discover an original outdoor activity which tests your balance, strength and focus.
There are several courses to meet different levels of ability and age groups. Whether you are looking for a family outing or an adrenaline rush, Acrobranch is the natural place for adventure. Safety is our main priority and you will be given expert training before you embark on your adventure. Acrobranch’s challenging obstacle courses are situated in a beautiful outdoor environment and offer the perfect entertainment that keeps the kids going for hours on end. Kids are informed of the safety regulations by qualified instructors, who are constantly around making sure that the rules are adhered to.
The Acrobranch activities are great for personal growth and development as it challenges the child’s motor skills and develops balance and strength as well as self-confidence. The Acro-twigs course (from 3 to 6 years old) works between 2-3m above the ground. Kids can celebrate their birthday parties at Acrobranch Melrose by challenging their friends to an entertaining experience. Our adult courses are structured for different fitness levels. Kids can also participate in these courses (terms and conditions apply with regards to age restrictions). Our Beginners Course, The Monkey Moves course. gradually increases up to 5m high above the ground. Our moderate course, the Swinging Tarzan, consists of zip lines, bridges, monkey bridges, Tarzan jumps and many other activities to challenge you. Certain obstacles are as high up as 10 meters. Then, for the more daring, why not attempt our High Flying course. Each individual is secured with a harness and the friendly instructors are there to walk you through the process, ensuring your safety at all times. It’s the perfect outdoor activity for school outings, birthdays, bachelor/ettes, and/or team building events.
