Addo Cruises and Sand Sledding is the oldest river cruise company on the Sundays River and we have many years of experience. We have a passion for this magnificent estuary and love showing our guests the spectacular natural beauty of the area. We offer river cruises and sand sledding cruises. The river cruises can be custom made to your requirements or you can jump onto our standard river cruise. Our ferry boat can carry up to 30 guests and we do catering on request.

Apart from our regular cruises our boat can be hired for parties and functions too!

Our safety procedures include providing life jackets for all children aged 5 and under (as required by law) to wear while cruising. We also insist that children aged 5 to 12 wear life jackets and that all children be under adult supervision while the boat is underway. Should any children refuse to wear the life jackets we’ll refuse taking them on board. No children are allowed to go upstairs (upper deck) without being accompanied by an adult.

All children under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by an adult or adult guardian who will also sign our indemnity/trip sheet.

We do a safety briefings, on the boat, prior every cruise – highlighting the location of safety equipment and emergency procedures. No smoking on the vessel while its underway. An indemnity form is required to be completed and signed by all passengers.

First aid box is standard equipment on board. Every cruise is conducted under the supervision of a qualified skipper and staff.
