The Cango Mountain Resort is your breakaway to the mountains. Conveniently situated only 24 kilometers from Oudtshoorn and a mere 10 kilometers from the famous Cango Caves, Cango Mountain Resort is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of a mountain retreat.
The Cango Mountain Resort is an ideal base if you’re hoping to explore the Cango Caves, visit the Ostrich farms, or go for exhilarating walks in the mountains. The resort has a small dam where paddle boats can be hired, as well as three onsite swimming pools, a large fishing dam, and, to top it all, a beautiful river that flows through the resort.
Our spacious 3 star caravan and tent sites are all electrified and have water points nearby. Grassed and level, our sites are strategically located alongside the river to ensure that you get your money’s worth in natural atmosphere. Nestled in a lovely valley surrounded by the well-known Swartberg Mountains, the resort brings you back to nature. Spotless ablution blocks with laundry and scullery facilities ensure a comfortable stay for all of our guests. Adequate hot water is always on tap, and a night watch will be at your disposal after hours.
We also offer you the choice of either 4-bed or 6-bed brick chalets (plus satellite TV). All chalets are fully equipped and come with their own swimming pool area. Exquisitely situated in lush surroundings, modern 4-bed fully equipped log cabins (with Satellite TV and Jetmaster heating) will ensure that your stay will be something special.
Our resort offers a youth centre with a 100 people dormitory, as well as a self-catering conference facility (bring own equipment) that caters for up to 60 people, for business persons or organisations seeking the perfect spot to hold undisturbed meetings or naturist outings. Unfortunately there is no cellphone reception.
