Fish Tales Fishing Charters
Fish Tales Charters is based in the beautiful coastal city of Cape Town.
We offer an array of Fishing, Spearfishing & Eco charters departing from Hout Bay Harbour throughout the year as well as seasonal trips departing from Struisbaai harbour during the months of January through March.
We own and operate two vessels:
Fish Tales – 28FT twin hull vessel with only the best Raymarine electronics
Fish Tales II – Our flagship 33FT twin hull vessel boasting state of the art Raymarine electronics, onboard toilet & plenty comfortable seating.
The coastal waters off Cape Point attracts large numbers of Yellowfin Tuna reaching sizes in excess of 100KG. We do not only target Yellowfin Tuna, we specialize in catching them in all facets: Baiting, Popping, Jigging & Spearfishing.
Other species of tuna like Bigeye Tuna, Southern Bluefin Tuna & Albacore also frequent our waters. The world record Bigeye Tuna was shot of Fish Tales in 2017.
The shallow reefs & pinnacles off Struisbaai attracts Yellowtail Kingfish & smaller Yellowfin Tuna during the summer months. We love catching fish on the jig & if you do too, this is the place to test your skills.
