TURTLE TOURS – (November-March).

An adventurous night excursion to look for nesting Leatherback and Loggerhead turtles. In November and December, you are likely to see them nesting and laying eggs. From January to March, you have a good chance of seeing hatchling turtles making their way to the sea in the moonlight. A 4×4 vehicle is required to get to Bhanga Nek, about an hour away from us. Our tour departs at about 17h30 and we meet a local turtle guide at Bhanga Nek for an informative talk before you set off for a walk along the beach to spot the turtles. Please note this walk can be tiring for the very old or very young and we only return to the lodge at about 23h00. Takeaway pizzas are available on request.
