There are plenty of options to choose from with Kowie Bunga Ocean & River Adventures. You’ll need to bring your own equipment along if you wish to spearfish. Experience is needed. The ride out to the fishing grounds can take up to 40 minutes.

If you’d rather stay out of the water, you can try conventional fishing. Beginners and experienced anglers alike are welcome on these trips and will have rods and reels provided. If you want to mix it up and go snorkeling during your trip, just let the captain know in advance. He can take you to clearer waters for this.

Whichever trip you choose, you’ll have plenty to target, such as Rockfish, Sea Bream, Bonefish, Kob, Grouper, Mussel Cracker, and more. Whatever your skill level, there’s a fish out here with your name on it.

Included in the price of the trip are conventional rods and reels, your fishing license, and live bait. This is prepared before the trip, so no time is wasted once on board. Remember to tip the crew after the trip – this will cover the cleaning of your catch.

You’ll need to bring food and drink along, which can go into the captain’s cooler on board.
