The Ocean Experiences team are only too keen to share the beauty of the ocean and its most playful mammals with you as well as the beauty of the Cape Town Atlantic Coastline. On our seal snorkeling experience, you will not only learn about the Cape fur seals habits, but you will also get to experience their friendly nature first hand. The tour includes a picturesque drive from the V&A Waterfront past all the well know sites of the Cape including Lions head and the 12 Apostles on the way to one of the biggest seal colonies found on the Atlantic seaboard. On our seal snorkeling trips, you also have the chance to see Dolphins, Whales, Penguins, Sun Fish and much more.
PADI Enriched Air Diver Specialty
The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba course. Why? Because scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression time, especially on repetitive scuba dives. If staying down longer and getting back in the water sooner sounds appealing, then don’t hesitate to become an enriched air diver. You’ll learn why diving with air that has a higher oxygen and lower nitrogen content gives you more bottom time, along with enriched air equipment considerations. During a practical session, you’ll: discuss managing oxygen exposure, practice analyzing oxygen content in your scuba tank, set your dive computer for diving with enriched air nitrox
2 Catamaran Dive Package
Imagine sailing around in style with a view good enough to put on a postcard. We offer a more comfortable and spacious environment for diving onboard IQ Catamaran, to accommodate the entire family. IQ Catamaran is a 45 ft (13.72 m) high performance sailing catamaran built by Voyage Yachts in 2010 with a purposeful design that is both stylish and safe. It offers a large open teak deck, comfortable cushioned seating area with roof covering and side screens as well as sunny spacious trampoline areas in the foredeck. Designed as both a live aboard cruising yacht with 2 x 39 Hp Yanmar engines, as well as the ultimate sailing catamaran for day sail excursions.
Maximum capacity of 38 passengers: 3-4 x Crew, 34 x passengers during the day. Maximum 6 divers. Maximum 8 snorkelers. Passengers more than welcome at an additional cost.
Dives range from scuba diving with Cape Fur Seals in Cape Town, Ship Wrecks, Coral Reefs, enchanting Kelp Forests. The Western Cape’s land diversity is mirrored underwater with the unique positioning of the peninsula at the junction of two major ocean currents, the warm Aghulas and cool Benguela currents bring with them huge biodiversity to our Cape oceans, where the nudibranch hunters and macro lovers will be equally as thrilled those seeking whales, dolphins, sharks and seals.
