Cruising down the mellow waters of the Klein River you will find River Rat Boat Cruises, a Stanford-based boat cruise showing passengers Stanford’s unique riverside beauty. The River Rat glides five to eight kilometres down the Klein River and on your journey, you will come across a variety of wildlife such as varying bird species, bontebok, Cape clawless otters and helmeted terrapins. River Rat Boat Cruises is perfect for group activities and functions such as team building and family outings. Each boat trip is tailored to the group’s needs and is between two to three hours long, depending on what they want to see on the trip. Moreover, the River Rat boat is dog friendly, has braai facilities and other activities include river rafting tubes and swimming. River Rat Boat Cruises has a four-passenger minimum and can accommodate a maximum of 12 people.
