Devils’ Reef is located on the Port Elizabeth beach front, opposite the Marine Hotel; there is easy access from the storm water pipe, pointing out to sea.

The colourful reef is about 100m off shore. Two role pinnacles that reach out to just below the surface at low tide, play host to a variety of small to medium sized fish, such a black tail and French Madame’s.

A great place to snorkel with gorgons, sponges, soft corals and stingrays have been known to frequent this stunning dive site to add to the package of an awesome dive.

Visibility is between 2 – 10 meters, depending on the prevailing winds. Port Elizabeth is known for macro diving, which is spectacular for photography and enables the keen diver to take in all that nature has to offer!
