Spirit Of Adventure

Spirit of Adventure is an outdoor leadership centre based at Shongweni Dam (between Dbn & Pmb) and was started in 1994 by Andy Telfer. The purpose of Spirit of Adventure is to develop the potential of people, conveying modern leadership theory, personal development and team building using the medium of the outdoors. In 2005, Rudi Clark took over having already worked with Andy since 2000. Spirit of Adventure continues to be a leader in leadership development and a popular venue for Schools, Youth Groups and Corporates.

It is our belief that Spirit of Adventure adds a vital component to the development of all people with a specific emphasis on youth development. Spirit of Adventure activities are by nature exciting, enjoyable and adventurous.  They are carried out to fulfill the aim of the course and will take place on land, on water and on rock faces.
