Enjoy the various nature trails and mountain bike trails that meander through the bush camp. Sit back and enjoy the beautiful sunsets at your camp or at one of the look out points or birding spots, while the bush comes alive with night time sounds of owls, nightjars and insects.

Umdobi Bush Camp is situated a short drive (15 km) from Sodwana Beach. Sodwana is situated within the World Heritage Site of iSamangaliso Wetland Park. Sodwana is renowned for big game fishing, rock and surf fishing, scuba diving and snorkelling. Sodwana Bay is rated one of the top ten destinations for fishing and scuba diving.

Enjoy a day trip to Mkuze or Ndumo Game Reserves or to Thembe Elephant Park. For the 4×4 enthusiasts there are plenty of routes to test your skills through the sand, dunes and forests that are found close to the camp.

Umdobi bush Camp offers spacious, secluded and shaded campsites set in the indigenous bush. Each campsite is hidden away in the bush to offer our guests peace, privacy and tranquility. If you are looking to escape to the bush but want the option of spending days on the beach join us on “our piece of Africa” at the coast.
