Victoria Bay Caravan Park is situated in George in the Western Cape.
Its has a gently-sloping beach which is a safe bathing area. The big waves make it a surfing haven with regular big competitions being held here annually. The dolphins and whales are a regular sight in the ocean which can be seen from your tent or from the close-by hiking trail to the point of the cove. While the ladies do their shopping at the Garden Route Mall or in town, the men can play golf at one of the many golf courses available in the Garden Route. Neighboring beaches are easily found and all have a unique attraction to them that will keep you and your family actively busy. There is a restaurant in Victoria Bay beach with a variety of dishes, beverages etc.
On the Western Terrace (the terrace above the houses in Victoria Bay) there are 20 stands of which 13 have individual ablution facilities situated on the site
(sites 17 – 29); the remaining 7 sites also have private ablution facilities (meaning that each stand has its own ablution) but it is not situated on the site, but approx 50 – 100 meters away from your stand
