We have a package to suit everyone. There are a variety of rides and horse trails on either horseback, quad bikes, or wagons, as well as special wine tasting excursions. Our business operates 7 days a week and the trails are led by experienced and qualified guides.
Horse & Mule Trails
Wine Valley Horse Trails has a package to suit everyone. There are 1 hour, 2-hour, and 4-hour rides, with special wine tasting trails. They operate 7 days a week and the trails are led by experienced and qualified guides.
The rides begin on the beautiful Rhebokskloof Wine Estate and proceed up and into the surrounding Paarl Nature Reserve. Riders are treated to spectacular views of the Du Toits Kloof mountain range, the Swartberg farming areas to the west, and the majestic Table Mountain to the south.
A 3-hour beach ride on the coast of Cape Town is offered on special request. It features gallops on the beach, plus exciting rides through the sand dunes with spectacular views of Cape Point, False Bay, and Hangklip.
Quad Bike Trails
Wine Valley Horse Trails now introduces Wine Valley Quad Bike Trails!
Based on the beautiful Rhebokskloof Wine Estate in Paarl, South Africa, the quad bikes complement the horse trails, by allowing guests to enjoy the same views and nature experience, as the horse riders do. Like the horse trails, the quad bikes are led by an experienced guide.
You can choose from a half-hour to 2-hour trail. There is also a fun obstacle course through the forest, which gives novice riders the opportunity to practice their new skills. The trails operate 7 days a week, but, booking is essential. All our trails are led by experienced guides, ensuring a safe and memorable experience. We are “Eco” conscious in that we respect nature and adhere to strict operating guidelines to protect the amazing environment we operate in.
Wackie Wine Wagon Trails
We also offer carriage drives for those that do not want to ride a horse or quad bike. This offers the wonderful ambiance of by-gone days where life was a little slower, but a lot more beautiful. We offer a variety of different trails ranging from 1 hour/2 hour to half day wine tastings and lunches in the beautiful countryside. This is a truly wonderful experience.
Please Note:
- All carriage drives by prior arrangement only.
- Minimum of 4 passengers / maximum of 14 passengers per trip.
- All tastings are included in the price, lunches are for own account, as they are off a menu.
- Breakfast is included in the Breakfast Trail price, with 1 bottle of champagne per wagon drive. (Extra champagne and drinks can be ordered at own account).
- Wagons and carriages can be hired for outside events and functions i.e. weddings, parties, conferences, team building, photo shoots
